Particularity : Le The cod flesh is very lean (2% lipids). The cod is the most commercialised fish, but in recent times stocks have been damaged due to over fishing.

Particularity : The conger eel is usually long line fished. Their flesh is firm and a little fatty as is not appreciated by everyone. The tail is full of small bones which makes this part of the fish almost inedible.
